Safety Precautions at Laveda Lash & Brow
To help prevent the Spread of COVID-19 and to keep everyone safe, we have many guidelines and mandates that we are following per State, City, Municipality, and CDC. This is unchartered territory for all of us, and we are dedicated to do what we can to limit any spread. We have made additional adjustments, with attempts to go above and beyond, every week since we opened, to continue to do our part to keep all safe. SAFETY is out #1 Priority and everything else takes a backseat!
*These measures are implemented at both our locations, with the exception of a few that are directed to our Nail service area in DC, which our Hyattsville salon doesn't have.

Updates as of 04/27/2022:
Masks are optional for clients, but for all technicians, masks are mandatory only when servicing the client.
Updates as of 06/01/2021:
For those who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19, can enter without wearing a mask, however we are still asking all clients to sanitize our wash their hands upon entering. Our Bar is now open for drinks. We still encourage social distancing, and our cleaning and sanitization measures will maintain at it's highest level.
Updates as of 11/01/2020:
We are excited about our New Air Purifiers from Hathaspace that contains Hepa Filters with H13 Medical Grade that removes 99.95% of particles down to 0.1 microns in diameter, that includes bacteria and viruses. Covers our entire salon's and recycles up to 1,500 ft of air every hour.
Added a seperate VIP manicure chair seperate from the main area. Just ask for it.
Included Morning, Evening, and throughout the day a rotation to use our Aerosol Sanitation spray machine for our Facial room and through-out the space as well as spraying all nail polish bottles and surface contacts.
Sneeze Guards at our Nail Stations (to serve as an additional barrier between you and our technicians. In addition, all personnel will continue to comply with the wearing of PPEs.
Contactless Temperature Check to be taken for all customers upon entering as well as for all our workers prior to each workday, please allow us to do this 5 second check upon entering. Any fever detected we will have to ask for you to reschedule. It's all about keeping each other safe, we all have to do our part!
VIP Pedicure Chair available for all Customers for those who want to be Solo. Divided by a wall from our Main area. Just request it and we will gladly provide service. For the Main area, we provide at least 6 feet separation and only maintain 2-3 nail technicians on staff, so we have minimal people in our salon at any given time, under 20% capacity.
New Air Filtration System and Air Sanitation filter that we run during the day and after hours that kill over 99% of all bacteria and viruses.
Mask should be worn at all times by guests and clients, except for when the service requires access to the face, such as face wax, lip wax, etc.
Our technicians have been instructed to wear PPE at all times, wash and\or sanitize between clients, sanitize all surfaces between clientele. And we still practice the highest sanitation by using one time disposable nail filings, and sanitizing tools properly.
We’ve staggered our appointments and reorganized our stations. That way, we can minimize contact between each client and allow for 6 feet of social distancing, when needed.
We’re no longer taking walk-ins to ensure our waiting area is safe and social distancing guidelines are followed.
Additional Safety Protocols:

All customers and workers to use sanitizer prior to entering to ensure hands are clean.

We rotate stations, and don't reuse a station until it is completely sanitized.

No walk-ins, only appt will be taken. If you want to come in last min, please call and we can try and fit you in.

Only 2-3 Nail technicians available to reduce the amount of clients at any given time.
